Daniela Rojas Castro, Ph.D. (elle/she)

Daniela Rojas Castro is the Director of Community Research and Strategic Information at Coalition Plus. She is also a research associate at INSERM (The French National Institute of Health and Medical Research). She holds a doctorate in Social Psychology and Methodology from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (University of Madrid). With 20 years of research experience, she has participated in international HIV research projects and is the author of numerous scientific publications and other works. She is also co-lead investigator of the ANRS-SEXTRA, EPIC-MENA, ANRS-Prevenir studies, as well as co-investigator of many other projects (EMIS 2017, ANRS-Outsider, EURO HIV EDAT, ANRS-Ipergay, Eurosupport 6 and COBATEST, among others). She is a member of the international scientific committee of the AIDS Impact conference, a member of the EATG, a member of the EuroTEST platform, a member of the steering committee of the Dublin Declaration on Partnership to fight HIV/AIDS in Europe and Central Asia (ECDC) and a member of the PrEP expert group for this last institution. She is a regular guest lecturer in the Master 2 “Economic and Social Studies” program at the University of Paris-Sorbonne. The Community-Based Research Department coordinates, analyzes, and promotes several research projects among Coalition PLUS member countries (Argentina, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Canada, Ecuador, France, Malaysia, Mali, Mauritius, Morocco, Portugal, Romania, Senegal, Switzerland, and Ukraine) and coordinates the Ibero-American community-based research network RIGHT PLUS.
