Understanding these interrelations allows us to develop and evaluate the implementation and effects of innovative interventions based on an anti-oppressive and harm reduction approach, including online interventions. The community-based research approach facilitates being firmly grounded in practice and responding to the needs of the field.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Objectives of the Chair<\/h2>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Design evidence-based anti-oppressive intervention practices for widespread implementation and evaluation.<\/li><li>Accompany and support, through research, public and community services working with these individuals. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Research Topics<\/h2>\n\n<p><strong>Topic 1 <\/strong>aims to understand the interrelations between the psychoactive substance use trajectories of SGD people and the various oppressive factors they face (in all their complexity and diversity).<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Topic 2 <\/strong>aims to develop and evaluate targeted interventions based on an anti-oppressive and harm reduction approach (including online interventions), amongst SGD people who use psychoactive substances.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Canada Research Chair in Sexually and Gender Diverse Individuals (SGD) and their Psychoactive Substance Use Trajectories (TRADIS Chair &#8211; Trajectories, Diversity, Substances) seeks to understand the interrelations between these trajectories and the various oppressive factors that SGD individuals face.
